Our teams are professionally trained to provide you with the highest standard of treatments and services, so every time you visit, you leave with a positive experience.
Human papillomavirus is a group of 200 known viruses usually contracted during sexual intercourse. This common virus spreads through skin contact, and individuals are therefore encouraged to have the HPV vaccination to reduce the chances of contracting this virus.
Individuals who should receive the HPV vaccine (besides 12–13-year-old children who are offered this vaccination at school) are:
• Patients aged 9 years and older.
• Patients at risk of HPV infection, such as those at risk due to sexual behaviour.
• Men who have sex with men (MSM) may be vaccinated, though referral to a sexual health clinic or their GP is recommended.
