Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)

Measles can spread easily and cause serious health complications. Therefore, the best way to eliminate any dangerous risks is through the measles vaccination (commonly known as MMR). 

The list of people who can access the MMR vaccination is: 

• Individuals aged 12 months and over.  
• Individuals who have not received two doses of the MMR vaccine or immunisation status is unknown.  
• Mumps or measles outbreak (in the communal setting, such as colleges, uni or further education institutions, schools).  
• People travelling to potential measles, mumps and rubella risk areas, especially if staying with friends or family and mixing with the local population.
